The well-established Sterling Festival grounds, with its authentically recreated 16th century village in Sterling, NY, hosts the STERLING RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL, now in its 33rd year. This festival runs weekends from the Fourth of July through mid-August. Thrill to the excitement of over 100 stage and street performances! 
Meet more than 200 professional actors and stagehands who recreate an authentic English Renaissance Village for you to experience. Revel in the raucous doings at every corner you turn. Beyond the Renaissance festivities, the Sterling site presents additional events including a Celtic Rock Festival in August and Screamers’ Hollow’s haunted attractions in late September and October.

THE CELTIC ROCK FESTIVAL is plugged in and piped up on multiple stages within the wooded grounds. Enjoy various groups performing their latest Celtic music plus local acoustic bands and dance troupes, which will be performing traditional Scottish and Irish dances. SCREAMERS' HOLLOW is ideally situated on the Sterling site in autumn as each tree reveals its twisted branch and the entire woods conspire to conceal the unexpected. Spine-tingling thrills await you at every turn. Screamers Hollow opened in the fall of 2008 for its first season... and was met with great success. It is already known as one of the most creative and harrowing haunted attractions in Upstate New York. The even longer established SANTA’S WORKSHOP AT THE NORTH POLE, NY, has been spreading Christmas cheer in the Adirondack Mountains since its historic inception in 1950. It is the original themed park, featuring Santa and his reindeer live to children of all ages in the summer and fall. North Pole, NY is a picturesque elfin village, complete with its own post office from which letters and packages can be sent with a North Pole postmark. Longest running of all is the SYLVAN BEACH AMUSEMENT PARK, a traditional amusement park with a blast-from-the-past ambience and an up-to-date thrill. Now featuring 25 rides including our roller coaster, “The Galaxi”, and the newly installed “Super Himalaya”, Sylvan Beach also boasts the ultra-fast, Sylvan Beach “Screamer” Speedboat Thrill Ride! This new attraction provides more thrills, more laughs, and more speed than you ever imagined as you zip across Oneida Lake.
